Education is evolving, and so are the ways we connect with students. In Romania, a unique training program is helping educators embrace modern tools like 360° visualizations and 3D models to make learning more engaging and interactive.
Titled "Digital Education of the Future: A Practical Course for Creating Interactive Lessons with 360° Visualizations and 3D Models," this initiative is supported by the Erasmus+ program. Hosted by ECO Eurosim Management, with participants sent by the Interactive Bulgaria Foundation, the program is designed to equip educators with practical skills to create immersive and effective lessons.
A Practical, Hands-On Learning Experience
Spanning 10 days, the training combines theoretical insights with hands-on practice. Each session is carefully crafted to help participants not only learn about digital tools but also apply them in real-world teaching scenarios. Here’s what the program covers:
Introduction to Spatial Visualizations: Educators start by exploring the formats and potential of 360° images, videos, and 3D models. These sessions include discussions and guided activities to understand how these tools enhance student engagement.
Mastering 360° Media: Participants gain hands-on experience in capturing, editing, and integrating 360° photos and videos into lessons. Collaborative activities and instructor feedback ensure practical mastery of these tools.
Creating and Using 3D Models: The training introduces educators to user-friendly 3D modeling tools like SketchUp and Blender. They learn to create or modify models and integrate them into educational content, making lessons visually appealing and interactive.
AI in Education: Educators are introduced to AI tools that simplify lesson creation. From generating quizzes to creating interactive learning activities, participants learn how AI can save time while enhancing creativity.
Lesson Design and Integration: A key focus of the training is on blending these technologies into cohesive lessons. Participants work on storyboarding, content customization, and layering educational information, ensuring their lessons are both engaging and high-quality.
