We’re excited to announce that Interactive Bulgaria Foundation is a partner in the EDI-FORJUV project, an Erasmus+ initiative led by INNETICA. This project, running from September 1, 2024, to August 31, 2026, is focused on helping vulnerable young people across Europe gain essential digital skills and improving their access to education and job opportunities. The project number is 2024-1-ES02-KA220-YOU-000243345.
What’s the EDI-FORJUV Project About?
The EDI-FORJUV project (Digital Empowerment for Inclusion: Strengthening Skills and Capacities in Vulnerable Youth) is all about equipping youth workers and young people with the digital tools and knowledge they need to succeed. The goal is to close the digital skills gap while promoting inclusion and better opportunities for vulnerable youth.
Main Objectives:
Train 25 youth workers to mentor and support young people in developing digital skills.
Help 100 young people from vulnerable backgrounds improve their digital competencies, making it easier for them to access education and jobs.
Strengthen the ability of the partner organizations to offer quality digital training and mentoring programs.
Activities in the Project
Here’s what the project involves:
Participant Selection: Recruiting tutors and young people from vulnerable groups.
Curriculum Development: Creating a training program tailored to the needs of youth workers and the young people they mentor.
Handbook for Vulnerable Youth: Developing a guide for youth workers to effectively support vulnerable young people.
Mentoring and Training: Training youth workers to run mentoring programs for young participants.
Web Application: Building an online tool to support and monitor the learning process.
Evaluation and Awareness Campaigns: Measuring the project’s impact and sharing the results to inspire others.
