Training in Vienna | Day 9: Presenting the Vision – Project Presentations and Feedback

Updated: Oct 31, 2024

Today marked an exciting milestone on Day 9 of our photogrammetry training in Vienna as participants prepared to present their nearly completed 3D projects. After days of capturing, refining, and enhancing, today was dedicated to showcasing their work, sharing insights, and receiving final feedback. This presentation day gave participants a platform to see how their projects resonated with others, gathering valuable feedback to polish their creations even further.

The morning session was dedicated to Final Touches and Presentation Preparation. Participants applied the last edits to their models and interactive content, making sure everything was polished and presentation-ready. They adjusted lighting, optimized textures, and made final tweaks to ensure their projects were visually compelling and user-friendly. This attention to detail helped each participant prepare to demonstrate their work’s educational potential.

By midday, we moved into the Project Presentation Showcase, where each participant presented their 3D model and educational content to the group. Each presentation highlighted the unique journey and creative process, from initial concept to final product, illustrating the diverse ways photogrammetry can be applied in education. Participants shared their project goals, explained their technical decisions, and demonstrated the interactive elements they designed to engage learners. The diversity of projects showcased the broad applications of 3D modeling—from historical artifacts to scientific models—each tailored to make learning immersive and accessible.

In the afternoon, the Peer Feedback and Evaluation Session provided a supportive environment for participants to receive constructive feedback from their peers and instructors. This collaborative session encouraged them to look critically at their work and consider ways to further enhance interactivity, usability, and educational impact. Feedback ranged from technical suggestions to creative ideas, giving participants a fresh perspective as they finalize their projects.

As Day 9 came to a close, participants walked away with a deep sense of accomplishment, having created impactful, interactive content ready for use in educational environments. With final feedback in hand, they are set to make last adjustments before tomorrow’s closing ceremony and certification. Stay tuned as we wrap up this transformative journey and celebrate the innovative projects that will soon inspire and engage learners everywhere!
