Our immersive photogrammetry training began today in Vienna, kicking off an exciting journey into the world of 3D digital content creation. This first day introduced participants to the essentials of photogrammetry, laying the groundwork for a transformative 10-day experience in building educational resources through advanced digital modeling.
The morning session began with an Introduction to Photogrammetry, where attendees explored the historical evolution and principles of photogrammetry. This session provided a comprehensive overview, highlighting how 3D modeling can enrich diverse fields, from architecture and archaeology to digital education. Next, participants learned the Fundamentals of Photography for Photogrammetry, which included essential camera techniques, settings, and tips to optimize image quality—skills crucial for capturing the high-quality data necessary for accurate 3D models.
In the afternoon, the group dove deeper into the Core Principles of Photogrammetry.
