09:00 – 11:00 – Built-In Assessment Tools
The morning platform walkthrough guided participants through creating graded quizzes, setting conditional feedback loops, and exporting learner progress reports. In guided practice, each participant built a short assessment and previewed how results appear in analytics dashboards, discussing with peers how to interpret and act on those metrics.
11:00 – 13:00 – Accessibility Best Practices
Through interactive discussion and checklist creation, attendees explored adding alt-text, keyboard navigation, and subtitles for narrated panoramas, aligned with WCAG principles. Peers shared hypothetical scenarios (e.g., learners with visual or hearing impairments) and together drafted key accessibility checks to include in every lesson review.
13:00 – 15:00 – Peer Review Rounds (Part 1)
Paired usability testing began: participants tested each other’s lessons specifically for accessibility and assessment flow. They identified barriers—missing alt-text, unclear quiz instructions—and recommended improvements. This hands-on peer testing cemented understanding of accessible design and assessment clarity.
15:00 – 17:00 – Peer Review Rounds (Part 2)
In group reflection, findings were consolidated into a “Top 10 Accessibility Tips” handout. Working collaboratively, participants drafted concise guidelines (e.g., always include keyboard-friendly navigation, verify subtitle accuracy) for use at their home institutions, ensuring the session produced a tangible resource rooted solely in the methods from the agenda.
