On May 24, 2024, the historic city of Veliko Tarnovo became the backdrop for a significant gathering of minds, as partners and collaborators from across Europe converged for the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) of the S.P.Q.R | Schools and People of Europe project. Hosted by the Interactive Bulgaria Foundation, this event marked a pivotal moment in our ongoing Erasmus+ initiative, project number 2022-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000086480.
Welcoming Our Partners
The event kicked off at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome from the Interactive Bulgaria Foundation, setting the tone for a day filled with insightful discussions and strategic planning. The venue, the Regional History Museum located at ul. "Ivan Vazov" 17, offered a culturally rich environment, further enhancing the collaborative spirit of the meeting.
Project Progress and Future Planning
The first session of the day focused on a comprehensive update on the project's progress. Participants delved into the achievements to date, discussing the work completed and identifying the next steps. The session underscored the importance of alignment with project goals and provided an opportunity to address any challenges faced by the partners.
As the day progressed, attention shifted to the planning of upcoming tasks. The division of responsibilities and the establishment of short-term milestones were at the forefront of discussions. This ensured that all partners were on the same page, ready to move forward in unison toward our shared objectives.
Contract Amendments and Logistics for LTT1
One of the critical aspects of TPM2 was the discussion on amendments to the main contracts. This segment allowed participants to present necessary changes, engage in constructive dialogue, and finalize the adjustments required to facilitate smoother operations in the project's next phases.
Following the contract discussions, the focus turned to the logistics of the upcoming LTT1 event, also to be held in Veliko Tarnovo. The session covered everything from accommodation and transportation to the finalization of the event schedule. Ensuring that all details were meticulously planned was crucial for the success of the LTT1 event.
Documentation, Reporting, and Future Events
As the meeting neared its conclusion, attention was given to the documentation and reporting requirements associated with the project. Participants clarified the processes, deadlines, and reporting duties, ensuring that all partners were fully informed and prepared to meet their obligations.
The final agenda item for TPM2 was an initial discussion on the planning of TPM3 and LTT2, set to take place in Petronell-Carnuntum. This session allowed for preliminary logistics planning, timeline setting, and the establishment of expectations, laying the groundwork for these future events.
A Collaborative Success
The day wrapped up with an informal networking session, providing a valuable opportunity for participants to engage in one-on-one discussions, further fostering the collaborative relationships that are at the heart of the S.P.Q.R | Schools and People of Europe project.
As we reflect on the outcomes of TPM2, it is clear that the event was a resounding success. The collective efforts of all participants have set a strong foundation for the continued progress of our project. We extend our deepest thanks to everyone involved and look forward to the exciting developments that lie ahead.
