The second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM2) for the "AI in Entrepreneurship Learning in Schools" project took place from August 10-12, 2024, in the vibrant city of Vienna, Austria. This significant event brought together representatives from our esteemed partner organizations, including Interactive Bulgaria Foundation, TUROREIN, Fundacja Ważne Rzeczy, Gymnasium Agios Nikolaos, and 119 Secondary School, to discuss the progress and future direction of our ambitious initiative.
Setting the Stage: Welcome and Opening Remarks
Albena Palpurina of Interactive Bulgaria Foundation set a collaborative tone for the meeting with a warm welcome to all participants. She provided a concise overview of the agenda, which was packed with discussions on project progress, upcoming milestones, and crucial decisions needed for the next phases of our project.
Progress Updates: Achievements and Challenges
The current status of the project was a focal point of the discussion, with a particular emphasis on Work Package 2 (WP2). This work package, which centers on the "Analysis of AI Applicability in Entrepreneurship Education," has made substantial progress since our first TPM in February 2024.
Key achievements of WP2 include the development of a comprehensive report that examines the potential of AI to revolutionize entrepreneurship education. The report also offers actionable recommendations for integrating AI into the "Game of Business" platform, which is a cornerstone of our educational approach. Additionally, a tailored teacher training program and an implementation plan have been crafted to support educators in effectively incorporating AI into their curriculum.
However, the meeting also addressed some challenges. Specifically, the delay in receiving and adapting analytical data from our Polish partners was acknowledged. This delay has impacted the completion of the WP2 final report. The team is actively working on integrating the Polish data, after which WP2 materials will be updated and shared with all partners for feedback.
Looking Ahead: Planning for the Next Phase
As we look to the future, the upcoming phase of the project will focus on finalizing WP2 with the updated data and initiating activities under Work Package 3 (WP3). WP3 will see the development of a web-based AI resource center, which will serve as a valuable tool for educators and students alike. This platform will include both introductory and advanced content, ensuring accessibility and comprehensiveness. A pilot online training program for entrepreneurship teachers, based on the "Train the Trainer" model, is also in the works, promising to further enhance the impact of our project.
The project timeline was reviewed and adjusted to account for the delays in data collection, ensuring that all partners remain aligned and focused on our shared objectives.
Closing Remarks: Summary and Next Steps
The meeting concluded with a summary of key decisions and action items. These include updating and circulating the WP2 results, collecting feedback from partners, and preparing for the activities under WP3. The next Transnational Project Meeting (TPM3) is tentatively scheduled for December 2024 in Poland, with final details to be confirmed by September 20, 2024.
As we move forward, we remain committed to our mission of integrating AI into entrepreneurship education, empowering future generations with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to make strides in this exciting project!
